Terms and Conditions

  • A Registration Charge of GBP65 is payable once per course in addition to your weekly course and accommodation fees. This covers local meeting on arrival, local transfer at the end of your course, drinks during your breaks, school course materials, and other expenses connected with your course and accommodation.
  • You must pay a deposit of GBP200 with your application form (deducted from your invoice total). If your funding is not successful this will be returned if you wish to cancel your booking
  • You must pay the balance 3 weeks before your course begins.
  • If your course begins in less than 3 weeks you must pay 100% in advance.
  • Currently there is no VAT tax on English language courses or accommodation.

 Cancellations

  • Once funding has been approved and you have confirmed that you wish to go ahead with your course your GBP200 deposit becomes non-refundable
  • If your funding is not approved your GBP200 deposit will be refunded less any bank charges incurred.
  • Balance payments only : before your course begins we will refund all of the money we have received from you less any expenses incurred by us
  • Balance payments only : after your course has started we do not refund any money except in the case of your illness or a family death. In this case any refund is at the discretion of the school
  • Accommodation : Homestay : If you cancel your course 1 week or less before it starts we will automatically pay the homestay family one week in compensation
  • Accommodation : Homestay : If you want to change homestay we require 1 whole week's notice from the following weekend (or payment instead)
  • Accommodation : Kingsway Serviced Apartments : If you cancel your booking less than 3 weeks before your course begins we will not refund any accommodation money to you unless we can sell the apartment to another person.

 Grant-aid Funding

  • Agreement or refusal to give funding is entirely at the discretion of the Fund administrator and his decision is final
  • No correspondence will be entered into
  • The Fund administrator is not required to give any reason for acceptance or refusal of funding
  • If successful the Fund will contribute 30% of tuition fees directly to Kingsway. It is the responsibility of the applicant to pay the balance and all associated course and accommodation costs
